I feel very blessed to have been introduced to a vastly better way to live and work, after sweating it out in a corporate career for 30 years. I run an online business in the Personal Development industry and I get to help others do the same.
By way of introduction, I live in the UK with my husband, I have 2 beautiful daughters I'm immensely proud of, and who are making their own way in the world. We live near the coast and we love walking on the beach with our rescue pooches, renovating our 400 year old house or travelling round the world experiencing different cultures and foods.

WHAT LED ME HERE: I loved my corporate career as a senior leader in an iconic British restaurant chain... until I found that the business - and I - had changed and we were no longer aligned. Suddenly I was resenting the bureacracy, the ever-increasing targets and the ever-present glass ceiling.
I walked away determined to see what else I was capable of, and how I could best continue adding value to others.
I had discovered the benefits of personal development learnings as a leader, and was inspired to train as a life and business coach. Rewarding personally, but I soon found I was working the same long hours I was trying to get away from - for half the income.
There had to be a better way!
THE SOLUTION: I was introduced to this opportunity by an ex-colleague (most people find us through ads) and I watched from the sidelines while she thrived, creating a beautiful lifestyle filled with travel and adventure and precious time with family and friends, making memories - things that I could only dream about.
I wanted some of that... and I finally thought, well if she can do it so can I!
THE ROAD TO SUCCESS: I was pretty sceptical about online businesses, I have to confess. I'd been courted by people from multi level type organisations but I really couldn't see how any serious income could be made. I was very wary of anyone claiming $000s can be made overnight, from the beach or wherever. I also knew I had to be a fan and a user of the product if I was to be involved in anything, and it would need to align with my values.
I was in doubt about my abilities to work online (sending an email I could do, not much else!) and feeling like I'd failed before - so could I do this?
I doubled down on the personal development, reading everything from The Chimp Paradox, Think and Grow Rich, right through to neuroscience and the plasticity of the brain, where I learned how I could literally change my thinking and shift those limiting beliefs.
My new mantra became ' I CAN do this' and I got going, and I haven't looked back!

THE BUSINESS SOLUTION: I had no idea when I was in a job, that there were real alternatives. I'd been trapped in a system where I was working to pay loans and pensions, with no real security or control of my future.
Now I'm privileged to be working globally with other amazing entrepreneurs, all committed to making a better future for themselves. We had all been searching for time freedom, to be with family, to travel and adventure, to live a fuller life than our careers could offer. Without compromising our earning potential.
